Prices and Terms

Prices are in US dollars and reflect RETAIL prices on the web site. Prices do not include shipping & packing charges, taxes, insurance or installation and are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to price in effect at the time the order is placed.  

A minimum deposit of 50% is required to initiate order fulfillment, except for In-Stock items which require payment-in-full. All accounts shall be paid in full when invoiced, which occurs when the order is complete. Invoice balance is due net 15 days from receipt with a service charge of 6% interest each month thereafter until paid in full.

Order must be paid-in-full, including shipping, handling, crating and packing, storage, taxes, and service charges prior to shipping.

Method of Payment

We accept payment by check, ACH and bank wire transfer. 

Cancelation of Orders and Returns

Each piece is hand-made to order. We unfortunately do not accept cancellations, order changes, or returns once an order has been confirmed.

Trade Program

Architects, Interior designers and other trade professionals may qualify for our Trade Program. Please contact info@higashi-fushimi.com.

Custom Orders

We welcome the opportunity to quote custom projects. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Lead Times

Please contact info@higashi-fushimi.com for a current lead time for a specific item. Lead time are calculated from the date of the receipt of payment.


Delivery cannot be scheduled without full payment cleared. 

All deliveries will be made via our preferred freight carrier, unless instructed in writing to use a specific carrier. (All charges are PROFORMA and will be included on the (final) invoice.) Any shipments returned to Higashifushimi, Inc. as a result of Buyer's failure to accept delivery will require Buyer to pay all additional costs incurred including storage fees.

All shipments are FOB Origin.

International Orders

The cost of any customs, duties or VAT, all of which will be charged locally upon arrival of goods. All shipments will be made via carrier of our choice, unless instructed in writing to use a specific carrier. 

Damaged Goods

All claims for freight damage must be made upon receipt and noted on the BOL.


Higashifushimi, Inc. warrants its products to be free of defects in workmanship under normal use at residential environment and service for a period of one year from date of purchase. Higashifushimi, Inc. reserves the right to inspect the damaged product before having any obligation under this limited warranty. All costs of shipping for inspection are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Higashifushimi, Inc. at it's option, shall repair the defective unit covered by this warranty. Higashifushimi, Inc. is not responsible for damages caused by regular wear and tear or natural weathering of finishes or other cosmetic changes, nor to damage caused by improper installation, maintenance or operation. Our warranty extends to products purchased only by the original purchaser.

Product Maintenance

All products should be cared for with instructions applicable to that product. Failure to do so may void product warranty.


All efforts have been made to accurately photograph the finishes and colors of products. Slight variances can sometime occur between the photographic representation and the actual product.


Customers will receive notification as to the date of order completion. If shipment is not made within 15 days of the completion date due to lack of payment or communication, Higashifushimi, Inc. reserves the right to transfer the merchandise to storage, Customer bears the risk of loss or damage and all costs incurred by such transfer and storage. Additional monthly storage fee of 4% of the order amount will be charged.
